Pasta salad

 

 Yesterday was the first day of summer. For this occasion I made simple pasta salad. The recipe is so easy that you can make this salad every day!! It is good for summer dinner and as a side salad for barbecue. With some grilled chicken or sausage and cold wine it’s just amazing.

This salad is vegetarian, meat lover can change cheese, for meat or smoked fish.

For one big bowl you will need:

1/2 red bell pepper

1/2 yellow bell pepper

1 tomato

  1 small broccoli or 1/2

about 30 grams paneer( I’m in India and I’m using local products,

but any other cheese will be fine, or egg)

400 grams uncooked pasta of your choice

Sauce:

7 drops of Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbsp mustard

1 tsp honey

1/2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar

 Diced bell peppers and tomato. Cooked past, I cooked my pasta with broccoli, you can also steam your vegetables. Meantime prepare sauce. Mix all ingredients, honey, mustard, balsamic vinegar and Worcestershire sauce, keep it aside. Once pasta is cooked, drained it and add to the rest of the ingredients.
Pour sauce on your salad and mix it. You can add some more honey, if the sauce is not sweet enough.
